An overview of the tax and accounting trends in the charter business will undoubtedly be best understood and applied by all those involved in the charter business or the mediation in the sale of these services. Emphasis is placed on bookkeepers, accountants, directors, and booking managers who are in direct contact with the agencies in Croatia and worldwide.

The Tax and Accounting Actuality Seminar in the charter business is recommended to all those who perform the charter business or mediate the sale of charter services: bookkeepers, accountants, directors, and booking managers who are in direct contact with the agencies in Croatia and the world. 

What will the participants learn?

  • Whether the service they provide is considered as accommodation or renting under the VAT Act?
  • What is required on the accommodation receipt, especially when using an agency as the mediator?
  • At what point and from what amount does the obligation of calculation VAT on advances arise in cases of agency mediation?
  • When does the obligation to apply a special taxation procedure for travel agencies arise?
  • Which are suspense items in the performance of charter activities and agency intermediation?
  • Which conditions should be satisfied for all vessels costs to be tax-deductible and in what form to submit it to the tax authorities?
  • Which are the obligations of the agencies on cash transactions in case of mediation of the specifics of foreign exchange operations in the charter activities from the aspect of the Fiscalisation Act

At the end of the seminar, participants may ask advice from the lecturer related to a specific issue in the charter business, but also establish business contacts with other participants
