Croatia is very good in using globalization

According to the newest study of UHY, Croatia is one of the best placed countries in a world’s race in exploiting globalization, which could be the backbone of a positive  economic growth in future.

UHY’s experts in tax and business consulting in 27 countries have ranked their economies according to several factors, including tax and trade policy, which show how economy already internationalized is and how it is positioned to benefit from the advantages of the globalization in future.

An UHY study includes parameters on how successful a country is in negotiation of favorable tax arrangements with potential trade partners; how successful it is in an export growth; how important role has an international trade in one’s economy; how much tax is charged on the reparation of profits earned abroad; how high is a country’s rank in the World Bank’s Doing Business study on labour costs. Data were obtained  from the World’s Bank, World Trade Organization, International labour organizations and national governments.

Evaluated according to these factors, Croatia has been ranked eight, with an overall score of 5.1, standing ahead of China and sharing the position with Czech Republic, India and United Emirates.

The above position is a pleasent surprise for Croatia, which is yet to take an advantage from it’s opportunities for growth in export to the EU market, following the abolition of customs’ duties.
